Andre’ Davis

Director of Health and Wellness Initiatives / Director de Iniciativas para la Salud y el Bienestar

Andre’ Davis has helped serve central Indiana in health seeking goals over the past 3 years. Leading over 2,500 people in their journey to fitness. Andre’ brings a very strong and strategic plan for Global Prep’s health and wellness program. Andre’ worked in corporate fitness and at the YMCA before coming to GPA and was the sports coordinator for the Avondale Meadows YMCA. Andre’ has worked at Forest Glen Elementary and Lawrence Central High. He is also a motivational speak and has worked with TEDx. 

Andre’ Davis ha servido a la comunidad de Indiana central por tres años, ayudando en la búsqueda de metas promovedoras de la salud. Habiendo dirigido mas de 2.500 personas en su viaje hacia un mejor estado físico, Andre’ trae un plan estratégico muy fuerte para el programa de salud y bienestar en Global Prep. Andre’ trabajó en salud corporativa y en el YMCA antes de venir a GPA; también fue el coordinador deportivo del YMCA en Avondale Meadows. Andre’ ha trabajado en Forest Glen Elementary y en Lawrence Central High School. El también es orador motivacional y ha trabajado con TEDx.

Art Instruction / Profesora de Artes

Miss. Paty, as she is best known, has 12 years of experience in the area of education. She has lived in several countries. Her first job was abroad in the US where she worked to support and create financial education programs in 2000 for Mexicans living abroad. Later her family traveled to Egypt where they lived for 7 years. There, Miss. Paty worked in an International School in the area of primary education and she has a basic knowledge of Arabic. In 2012, her family set out on a new adventure to Guatemala, a neighboring country to their beloved Mexico. She worked in visual arts and library activities. In August of 2016 they arrived in Indianapolis and are very proud to be a part of the group of teachers who make up Global Prep Academy.

Miss Paty como es mejor conocida, tiene una experiencia de 12 años en el area de educacion. Ha vivido en varios países, su primer trabajo en el extranjero fue en EUA, donde trabajó apoyando y creando los programas de educación financiera en el 2000 para los mexicanos que viven en el exterior. Después en familia viajaron a Egipto y vivieron 7 años. Ahi trabajo en un Colegio Internacional en el área de educación primaria y tiene conocimientos básicos de árabe. En 2012 partieron a una nueva aventura a Guatemala, país vecino de su adorado México. Impartió la clase de artes visuales y además apoyó las actividades de la biblioteca. En agosto del 2016 llegaron a Indianápolis y está muy orgullosa de poder ser parte del grupo de docentes que integran GPA.

Samuel McKanney

Samuel McKanney is thrilled to be joining the Global Prep Academy family as the Music Educator. Samuel studied Music Education and Psychology at Anderson University. While Samuel is a native of Indianapolis, he spent some time in Winston-Salem, North Carolina as a Music Director, Class Instructor, and Private Lesson Teacher of voice and dance for Spring Theatre and Dance, a children’s theatre company. Locally, Samuel has taught for several organizations including Christian Youth Theatre and the Jordan YMCA and was regularly brought in as a clinician for several Indiana area show choirs. When not educating, Samuel could be found performing professionally on stages across Indianapolis including The Athenaeum, Theatre on the Square, Indianapolis Civic Theatre, Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre, and Hilbert Circle Theatre with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Samuel is ecstatic to be at this rewarding job that emphasizes and nurtures growth in its pupils allowing him to utilize his passion for facilitating engaging musical environments of learning.
