Favorite Quotes

My father and his family, along with aunts, uncles, and great aunts from my mother's and my father's side, lived between 30th and MLK to 18th and Harding since the 1930's. I grew up and still live nearby in the Historic Flanner House Homes neighborhood.  I attended Flanner House from preschool through kindergarten, and I graduated from Crispus Attuck High School.  My roots run deep in this community, and I am very proud of where I'm from.

Bachelor of Science from Indiana University - Indianapolis  majored in Criminal Justice with a minor in African American Studies and Sociology.          Masters of Education from Marian University with a concentration in Special Education and Reading
